Er wordt een vloeibare kleurstof gebruikt om scherpe en gedetailleerde beelden van het hart en de slagaderen te krijgen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; &gt;<strong>multislicecomputertomografie (MSCT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>is een recent ontwikkelde techniek waarmee de werking van het hart en de <a class=\"addtooltip\" title=\"Bloedvaten die het bloed naar de hartspier zelf leiden.\"><strong>kransslagaders<\/strong><\/a> op een niet-invasieve manier kan worden beoordeeld. Bij een MSCT van het hart wordt met behulp van r\u00f6ntgenstralen en een vloeibare kleurstof een driedimensionale afbeelding van uw hart en bloedvaten gemaakt. Het scanapparaat is zeer geavanceerd en scant het hart zeer snel. De afbeeldingen die zo worden gemaakt zijn scherper en gedetailleerder dan bij andere onderzoeken. Net als bij een angiogram wordt een vloeibare kleurstof ingespoten waarmee vernauwingen in uw kransslagaders kunnen worden opgespoord.<\/p>\n<p>In tegenstelling tot angiografie van de kransslagaders, waarbij vloeibare kleurstof op een invasieve manier via een <a class=\"addtooltip\" title=\"Een dunne, flexibele slang die bij veel procedures wordt gebruikt.\"><strong>katheter<\/strong><\/a> rechtstreeks in uw <a class=\"addtooltip\" title=\"Bloedvaten die het bloed naar de hartspier zelf leiden.\"><strong>kransslagaders<\/strong><\/a> wordt ge\u00efnjecteerd, wordt bij dit onderzoek de vloeibare kleurstof met een kleine naald ge\u00efnjecteerd in een oppervlakkige ader in de rug van een van uw handen of in een oppervlakkige ader aan de binnenkant van uw elleboog. Vervolgens voert uw bloedcirculatie de kleurstof door uw lichaam. Zodra deze uw kransslagaders bereikt, begint het onderzoek.<\/p>\n<p>Een CT-scanner gebruikt r\u00f6ntgenstralen om te scannen hoe de kleurstof zich door uw hart en de bloedvaten van het hart verplaatst. Dit levert scherpe, nauwkeurige beelden op. Het onderzoek duurt slechts een paar seconden en meestal wordt u gevraagd even uw adem in te houden.
